LAREDO, TEXAS.- In observance of Christmas Day, the City of Laredo offices will be closed on December 24 and 25, 2020. The schedule for other offices will be as follows:
- The City of Laredo Solid Waste Services administration offices will be closed on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25.
- There will be regular garbage pick-up from December 21-22.
- The recycling pick-up for Thursday routes is scheduled for Wednesday, December 23. There will be no recycling pick-up on Friday, December 25.
- The City Landfill will be open on Thursday, December 24 until 12:00 p.m. only and will close on Friday, December 25.
- El Metro administrative and customer service offices will be closed on December 24 and 25.
- El Metro paratransit service, El Lift, and the fixed route will have regular service on Thursday, December 24; the mentioned services will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2020.
- 3-1-1 Calling Services will be open both Thursday, December 24 and Friday December 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Regular hours will resume the following day on Saturday, December 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00p.m.
All offices will resume normal operating hours on Monday, December 28.
